Does your $350.00 fee include the price of an airline ticket for my pet?

No. Our fee includes assisting you with all the details of the airline flight planning: securing a proper flight, written detailed instructions in preparing the pet for travel, documents required, logistics, and so on.

I don't know how airlines base their pricing for pets. Can you give me an idea?

Yes. In general, pet airline tickets are based on the following three factors when flying unaccompanied: weight of the pet in its carrier, dimensions of the carrier, and destination. In other words, cats cost less than Great Danes!

Does your fee include pickup and delivery of my pet to and from the airport?

No. Not every pet requires pick up and delivery, so this is not included in our price. There are many variables to consider when pricing a pick up and delivery transport. These are priced on a case by case basis.

What does our $350.00 fee include?

We assist you from start to finish with your pet's relocation. We are available at all times to consult with you by phone, e-mail, or fax any questions or concerns you may have. Can we call or e-mail you to get a free quote?

No, you need to submit a Pet Travel Form.
Each pet shipping and relocation varies because of destination, weight and needs of pet, departing/arriving cities, date, time, season, and your particular circumstance. We need full information and time to complete our research that customizes your pet’s relocation and to provide you with an accurate quote. Upon receipt of your pet travel form, Happy Tails will provide a quote.

We are happy to provide a quote relating to all the costs involved with the pet's relocation as part of our service. Examples are: airline tickets, carrier, pick-up & delivery, and vet. This information along with all the other details are included in our domestic relocation planning which is $350.00, and our international relocation planning which is $825.00. Note that Happy Tails Travel proudly offers Military Discounts.

Once we send in the Pet Travel Form, is there an obligation or cost?

No. It is an opportunity for us to review your info and have it all in one place. We will then call or e-mail you to discuss your pet’s needs at which time we can discuss your interest in hiring us to make your pet’s move a breeze.
