How We Choose Our VIP Drivers at Happy Tails Travel
At Happy Tails Travel, we understand the importance of providing reliable and safe transportation for every pet. That is why we take great care when choosing and training our drivers. We believe that every precious pet passenger deserves to have a safe, fun, and stress-free ride and that starts with hiring experienced and dedicated drivers.
When selecting a driver for pet transportation, we look for individuals who have a good driving record and have undergone all the necessary background checks. We also ensure that they are knowledgeable about animal care, driving laws, basic vehicle maintenance, and have excellent customer service skills to provide you with the best experience possible. Each driver must show a love and dedication to every cat and dog to ensure that every pet will have the best experience possible.
Once our drivers are selected, they must complete and comprehend our thorough Driver Handbook as well as participate in a ride along with one of our experienced drivers. They learn everything from route planning, safety protocols to prevent pets from escaping, how to find the best rest stops and pet friendly hotels, communicating with pet parents, and making sure that every dog and cat has the best experience possible. Pet travel can sometimes be stressful for our furry family members, and our drivers learn how to reduce that stress and make the experience a positive one so that your pet arrives to their new home happy and healthy.
